No really, honestly, this is the easiest cranberry sauce you’ll ever make and the best tasting. This holiday give our Easy Homemade Cranberry Sauce a try and you’ll kick the can forever. We want to share this recipe with our followers because it has been a long time favorite at our family table. With walnut, raisin and orange accents – we promise you’ll LOVE it! Okay, so are you ready? Here it is…
Easy Homemade Cranberry Sauce
1 12oz package fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup water
1 cup sugar (add more to taste, or less)
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1 tbs of orange zest
Bring water + sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan.
Add cranberries and return to boil.
Reduce heat, add orange zest and boil gently for 10min, stirring occasionally. Berries will start to pop.
Add orange juice, raisins + nuts. Remove from heat and stir together. Let cool. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools.
Makes 2 1/4 cups.
That’s it! It’s that easy! Enjoy!

plus, a quick leftover recipe:
Cranberry Turkey Panini:
2 slices store bought sourdough bread
2-3 slices leftover turkey
leftover Easy Homemade Cranberry Sauce to use as spread
1 slice baby swiss cheese
Spread a thin amount of our Easy Homemade Cranberry Sauce onto one of the sourdough slices. Pile on turkey slices, top with baby swiss cheese and add the second slice of sourdough. Spray bread slices with cooking spray. Add to grill or panini maker. Wait until the cheese is gooey and the bread is toasted!
Simple and delicious! Pour yourself a glass of your favorite Vino and enjoy (we have become fond of drinking our wine out of a standard mason jar!).
